A Medieval Coin Hoard Found near Loučná Hora (Hradec Králové Distr.)
A hoard consisting of 26 silver coins was discovered during a metal detector survey in a forest in the cadastral area of Loučná Hora in 2023. The coins can be dated roughly to the period from the end of the 13th to the beginning of the 14th centuries. Most of them were two-sided pieces bearing the images of a lion and an eagle, until now probably unpublished.
