Alcohol and its common consumption played a fundamental role in folk culture, during everyday life and festive time as well. Although museum collections have a considerable number of decorated vessels that were intended for the storage and consumption of alcohol, it is very rare to find themes associated with direct consumption among the figurative motifs used. Despite the low number, their basic analysis outlines interesting themes, particularly related to the status of the users. At the same time, numerous parallels can be found between the motifs, across production areas.
