Entrance fees
We recommend purchasing a timed ticket to the Children's Museum on-line (in order to reserve a time slot). Tickets to the Museum Complex can also be purchased in mobile app, self-service ticket machine or at the box office in the Historical or New Building.
If the capacity of the building is full, access is temporarily suspended. That usually happens at weekends around noon, on holidays. Priority entrace for ticket-holders. The usual waiting time is 30–45 minutes.
On Sunday, November 24, 2024, entry to the buildings of the National Museum is FREE, please do not buy tickets for a visit on this day. Free admission DOES NOT APPLY to the CZECH PRESS PHOTO exhibition. REDUCED ADMISSION to the CHILDREN'S MUSEUM applies on Sundays, November 17 and November 24 (see below Children's Museum on November 17 and on November 24, 2024).
1. The Museum complex

The Children's Museum is intended for children from 4 years old, only accompanied by an adult. To enter the Children's Museum, it is necessary to purchase one of the 90-minute time slots (10:15–11:45, 12:15–13:45, 14:15–15:45, 16:15–17:45). After it ends at the time indicated on the ticket, it is necessary to leave the premises. Please arrive at the entrance no earlier than 15 minutes before it starts (New building, 2nd floor).
The e-ticket to the Museum Complex is valid for 30 days from the day of purchase for a one time entry.

4. Children's Museum / only with time ticket
– Children under 15 only accompanied by an adult 140 CZK
– organized school groups with pedagogical support– 3 members of the teaching staff free of charge (when entering the Children's Museum, it is necessary to prove affiliation to the school, e.g. a list of names 100 CZK/PERSON
– applies exclusively to pedagogical support of a school group (max. 3 persons)
– when entering the Children's Museum, it is necessary to prove affiliation with the school (e.g. a list of names of pupils and teachers with a school stamp) FREE ADMISSION

7. The gift voucher to the Museum Complex
The gift voucher is valid for 365 days from the date of purchase for a one-time entry to the Museum Complex of the National Museum, i.e. to the Historical and New Buildings.
The gift voucher does not apply to the Children's Museum and Czech Press Photo exhibition.
Gift vouchers can also be purchased at all ticket offices of the National Museum.

Photography and filming for non-commercial purposes and without the use of flash and tripod included in the ticket price.
Please bring tickets purchased on-line (valid for 30 days from the date of purchase for a one time entry) printed or stored on your mobile phone.
The ticket must be kept for the duration of the entire visit.
Purchased tickets cannot be returned or changed.
