Material deposited mostly under Dasyscyphus sulphureus in the herbarium PRM is revised. The species with a reaction to KOH are briefly described. Generic delimitation of the genus Trichopeziza is discussed. The Peziza sulphurea type material is revised. The species is lectotypified and epitypified.
