Richter’s manuscript on the fauna of the Osoblaha region written in 1890 is a “raw” list of species with general remarks on their biology. In mammals, localities are completed for only 4 species out of 33. E. Richter himself was not a faunist and did not describe the origin of his messages, so even from only this point of view their value is very disputable. Similar completing lists of fauna appeared in “Natural History of Moravia” as well as in the Czech literature after 1897.
