Interesting calcite veins with fluorite have been found in bituminous limestones in abandoned quarry near the Lipovník village. Fluorite forms dark purple to nearly black aggregates up to 1.5 cm which are composed of euhedral usually deformed cubic crystals up to 7 mm in size. Other associated minerals are dolomite and pyrite crystals and aggregates. Calcite as the youngest mineral fills cavities and covers older minerals like pyrite, fluorite and dolomite. The unit-cell parameters of fluorite from the studied locality are following: a = 5.46377(5) Å and V = 163.108(4) Å3. Origin of the fluorite, pyrite, dolomite and calcite is most probably hydrothermal.
