The Digitisation of Manuscripts from the National Museum Library

With the financial support provided by the Ministry of Culture within the Institutional Funding of the Long-Term Conceptual Development of a Research Organisation (DKRVO 2019–2023/25.VIII.a, 00023272), the manuscript of the journeys and life of Jindřich Hýzrle of Chodau (shelf mark VI A 12) was digitised in 2019 to prepare the basis for the production of its facsimile. Beyond the scope of this project, the new scans were also made accessible online, together with a codicological description newly written for the purposes of the project. This richly and originally illustrated manuscript of the German version of Hýzrle’s memoirs can now be viewed on the website of the Manuscriptorium digital library.
