In 1934, a coin hoard was found near village of Rybnice (Plzeň-North District). Unfortunately, only 9 coins have been preserved in the Klatovy Museum, the rest of the hoard did not survive. In 2018, the Museum and Gallery of the Northern Plzeň Region in Mariánská Týnice obtained another 18 coins from this find dated to the 17th century (1619–1673). These were small coins from all over the Central Europe, mostly kreuzers and greschls. The provided documentation included also additional information concerning their origin. Thus, we know the years of issue (1596–1681) as well as exact number (187) of the coins in the hoard despite not all of them have been preserved. According to the documentation, the composition of the find did not differ much from the preserved sample. The highest denomination was a three kreuzer, the lowest one, a heller. The coins were buried probably in connection with the Peasant Uprising of 1680.
