Acta Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae | 2014/54/2

The family Oxycarenidae is recorded from Venezuela for the first time. Two new species of Anomaloptera Amyot and Serville, 1843, A. meridana sp. nov. and A. sitesi sp. nov., are described and illustrated, both collected in dead dry flower stalks of Espeletia schultzii (Asteraceae).
