The Czech National Bank has issued a total of eight commemorative coins in 2020. Five of them were jubilee silver 200 CZK pieces, celebrating the 500th Anniversary of the Joachimsthal thalers, the 200th Birth Anniversary of Božena Němcová, the 100th Anniversary of the foundation of the Secondary School of Glassmaking in Železný Brod, the 600th Anniversary of the publication of the Four Articles of Prague, and the 150th Birth Anniversary of Adolf Loos. Furthermore, one jubilee silver piece of nominal value 500 CZK was issued to mark the anniversary of the Czechoslovak Constitution and the establishment of the Constitutional Court of the Czechoslovak Republic. Two golden 5000 CZK pieces were issued within the cycle “the Castles”: the Bečov nad Teplou Castle and the Buchlov Castle.
