Data on bats of the Poloniny National Park and its surroundings, eastern Slovakia (Chiroptera).

Regarding bat fauna, the territory of the Poloniny National Park remains an insufficiently studied area. Detailed research on bats was conducted there before 2000. By 2011, a total of 19 bat species had been recorded within this area. The presented study compiles previously unpublished faunistic data, primarily collected after 2000 through both irregular visits and targeted bat surveys. Currently, 25 bat species are known to occur within the National Park and its close surroundings.
