Acta Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae | 2008/48/2

The pentatomid genus Massocephalus Dallas, 1851 and its only previously known species, M. maculatus Dallas, 1851 are redescribed. The tribal placement of Massocephalus is briefly discussed. One new species, M. stysi sp. nov. is described. A key to the species is provided.
