The Špalíček Digital Library has provided digital access to the collections of chapbooks since 2011. Interactive map applications make it possible to explore the geographical information contained in the digital-library database in context. They will provide researchers and the general public with a means to study chapbooks in terms of provenance and content in spatial relationships, and they will also enable their visualisation. An interactive map of printing workshops and places mentioned in chapbooks and a specialised map of pilgrimage sites in chapbooks, the latter of which is dedicated to the mapping of the depictions of pilgrimages in broadside ballads and prayer prints, are complemented by authoritative databases of places, persons and corporations and linked both to these records and to bibliographic descriptions of the printed books. This will allow the visualisation of relationships within variously defined units as well as the search for prints in the geographical context.
