A new genus of Cremastinae (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae), Bylesia gen. nov., and its type species, B. brachyscleroma­morpha sp. nov., are described from the Eastern Himalaya, Yunnan, China. The new taxa are illustrated, diagnosed, and their relationships are discussed.
