Acta Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae | 2024/64/1

A new species of the assassin bug of the genus Pygolampis Germar, 1817 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Reduviidae: Stenopodainae), P. amamiko sp. nov., collected from the Amami Islands, Japan, is described and its morphological characters, including the genital structures, are illustrated. A key to the Japanese species of the genus is provided.
