Tisky do roku 1700 v Národním muzeu – Českém muzeu hudby

The Music History Department of the National Museum – Czech Museum of Music has holdings of more than a hundred prints published before 1700. The catalogue contains a total of 107 items, consisting of 71 prints of AZ collection and the music archives of the Music History Department and 36 prints from the library of Czech Museum of Music. This varied set of material encompasses sacred and secular Renaissance polyphony, monophonic cantionals, liturgical books, tablatures, compilations of Baroque vocal music with instrumental accompaniment and purely instrumental music, text books, and books about music. Preceding the detailed, scholarly catalogue is a study that deals with, among other things, the origin of the collection of old musical prints and manuscripts at the National Museum in Prague.
