The basis of the publication represents collection of folk songs from the Kouřim region, which originate from older Czech folk songs collection, yet unpublished manuscripts and author´s own field research, conducted from 1999 until 2012. The folk song collection is supplemented with notes, supplements (tables, maps, graphs) and scientific study, as well as colour pictorial appendix. The publication is also supplemented with CD with audio scores of selected folk songs. The publication is published by the National Museum and the Scriptorium, Association for Non-Commercial Publication of Academical Literature. The publication was published with institutional financial support of the National Museum by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic (DKRVO).
