The Atlas of the Distribution of Mammals of the Czech Republic, in its already 8th consecutive part, deals with nine types of bats of the Myotis family. The publication uses an extensive database covering almost 20,000 records about their occurrence and it gives complete listing of all known localities (including square maps of distribution) and their evaluation in view of historical, faunistical – zoogeographical, hypsometrical and long-term development of the populations.
