During our textile upcycling workshops, we will give new life to unwanted clothing and fabrics. Old knitted sweaters, jeans, bed linen, tablecloths, T-shirts and other textiles will be transformed into new creations, with care and respect for every piece of material.
Learn how to make five different types of fabric Christmas ornaments (a star, Christmas tree, angel, teddy bear and elf) and add the finishing touches with hand embroidery. These charming handmade ornaments are perfect for hanging on your Christmas tree, giving as thoughtful Christmas gifts or simply decorating your home.
The workshops will be led by Miroslava Přibylová, who studied fashion design at the College of Fashion Design and Secondary Technical School of Fashion in Prague. After completing her studies, she continued working in the fashion industry and established her own fashion studio.
She has organised sewing courses for children and currently teaches aspiring young fashion designers at a secondary school.
Her work is characterised by meticulous craftsmanship and a distinctive personal style. Through her drawings, embroidery and textile appliqués, she brings even the smallest creations to life.
