Salon Dvořák

A chamber series dedicated to young performers, to whom the Antonín Dvořák Museum offers a space for concerts and artistic realisations in the inspiring surroundings of the Baroque summer palace Amerika.

Polish-Slovak violinist Miriam Minkova-Rogalska (*2005) studies with Prof. Jindřich Pazdera at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and with Anna Gutowska at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna. She has successfully participated in many competitions including the International Competition for the Václav Krůček Prize and the Schneider Trnava Competition. In 2021 she was a finalist in the Virtuosos V4+ television competition. She is a recipient of the Arkady Fomin Scholarship, the Stadler-Trier Foundation and the Slovnaft Talents of New Europe Foundation. Her solo debut was a concert with the State Orchestra in Žilina in 2018, after which she collaborated with the Prague Conservatory Chamber Orchestra, the Dohnányi Buda Symphony Orchestra and the Hungarian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, among others, and with conductors such as Simon Chalke, Gabor Hollerung and Chuhei Iwasaki. She has participated in masterclasses with Vadim Repin, Danuta Glowacka-Pitet, Vadim Gluzman, Ivan Ženaty and many others.

Kristina Marková Stepasjuková (*1991) studied piano at the Pardubice Conservatory with Prof. Inna Tolmačová and at the Prague Academy of Performing Arts in the class of Prof. Ivan Klánský, where she graduated with a dissertation dedicated to the research of solo piano works by P. I. Tchaikovsky. She then went on to study chamber music at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna with prof. Avedis Kouyoumdjian.

She has won numerous competitions, including the Beethovenův Hradec International Competition, the Concorso Pianistico Internazionale Roma and the Johannes Brahms International Competition in Poertschach. As a soloist she has collaborated with the Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Pardubice, the Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestral Academy of the Czech Philharmonic. She is an active and established chamber musician. She has participated in masterclasses with A. Kouyoumjian, V. Ashkenazi, I. Klánský and others.  Currently, she works at the Piano Accompaniment section at the Prague Conservatory and HAMU.

Julie Krejčí (*2004) studies cello at the Prague Conservatory in the class of Prof. Tomáš Strašil. During her studies she received several awards for her solo playing, for example 2nd prize at the Mahler Competition in Jihlava, 2nd prize at the Vychytil Competition in Prague and 3rd prize at Talents for Europe. She has been playing orchestral music since childhood and in the 2023/2024 season she was a member of the Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra. She is also a member of the chamber ensemble Trio Classic.

Matej Pčolinský (*2004) is currently studying with Prof. Jiří Fišer at the Prague Conservatory. In previous years he performed with the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra in Ostrava and the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic Orchestra in Kroměříž. He regularly participates in masterclasses (Ševčík Academy, Summer Music Academy in Kroměříž, Meeting with Music in Soběslav, Summer Violin Academy V. Hudeček Academy). He is a member of the Hartig Trio, which will perform at the Antonín Dvořák Museum on 19 June 2025.
