ODTVS Photo Archive – Research Room
The photo archive contains 80,000 processed photographs, 9,000 negatives, 6,000 diapositives, and 600 photo albums. These materials come from the estates of individual personalities, donations, and gradual collection activities from various sporting events taking place in the Czech Republic and abroad.
There is a card index for these materials, which is available to researchers in the Photo Archive research room.
The research room does not have fixed opening hours, but operates on the basis of prior arrangement with the archive curator.

ODTVS Library
The library collection is available to users for on-site use only. Basic services are provided free of charge, while fees for reprographic services are charged according to the National Museum's price list. The library does not have its own research room; users study the volumes they have ordered in the research room of the National Museum Library.
Since most of the library collection of the Department of Physical Education and Sports History is stored in a depository outside Prague, interested parties must first order the desired literature in advance either by email or by phone (jitka.schutova@nm.cz; 224497187, 724412263). A maximum of 5 (in words: five) volumes can be studied in one day.

The Department of Physical Education and Sport is located in the New Building of the National Museum (Vinohradská 1, Prague 1).
The physical education and sports research rooms are accessible to researchers by prior appointment.
