Occurrence of the bicoloured white-toothed shrew (Crocidura leucodon) was for the first time recorded in the Třeboň Basin in the mapping squares no. 6854 and 6954 (localities Frahelž and Novosedly nad Nežárkou, 430 and 460 m a. s. l. respectively). These records confirm continuing expansion of this species in the country and it is likely that its distribution range actually has a rather continuous character in southern Bohemia.
