Lynx, new series | 2009/40/1

An individual of the northern birch mouse (Sicista betulina) was observed in the eastern part of the Boletice military training area (southern Bohemia, Czech Republic) on 18 May 2007. The sighting took place in abandoned wet meadows in a creek flood plain. Possible occurrence of the species in the nearby Blanský les hills is discussed.
