The first list of students theses in mammalogy defended at the Faculty of Science in Brno was published in this journal by Gaisler & Zukal (1989). In this report the additional list is presented concerning theses defended in 1989 to 1997 and one defended earlier but omitted in the previous list. On the whole, 44 diploma and three Ph.D. theses were defended within the time span of 1953–1997 at the Brno Faculty of Science. They concern various aspects of biology of mammals, including six studies on mammalian parasites. While the undergraduate diploma theses are in Czech only, each Ph.D. thesis is accompanied by a Dissertation Abstract in English. All theses are deposited at the library of the Department of Zoology and Ecology, Faculty of Science. Masaryk University.
