This paper represents the first report of the Krška jama Cave algae. A total of ten algal species and subspecies were found in subaerial samples from Krška jama cave in Slovenia. Most algae were typical aerophilic species, with Trentepohlia aurea being the most abundant. The flora was species-poor compared with other caves, probably due to weak lighting. Navicula harderii is new species for Slovenia.
