The scrap-book collection represents a unique set of clippings. Their sources are periodicals of the 2nd half of the 19th century, but also other types of documents. They are sorted according to preset criteria. The collection was founded by Vojta Naprstek’s, based on his experience that he gained during his stay in the United States. Later on it was his wife Josefa, who kept at this task, and also the librarians who worked in Naprstek›s library. Gradually a remarkable collection of 334 volumes arose. It is located in the archive of the Naprstek Museum. The informational value of the collection is extraordinarily high, since the library of Vojta Naprstek subscribed to the almost entire press in Czech lands (both in Czech and German). In addition to it, the respective source of each clipping is provided.
