Acta Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae | 2015/55/1

Bruneastrum cardinale gen. & sp. nov. is described from Brunei. This is the fi rst record of the tribe Hemisphaeriini Melichar, 1906 and second representative of the family Issidae (Hemiptera: Fulgoroidea) from the country. A checklist and an identifi cation key to the species of Hemisphaeriini known from Borneo are given.
