Acta Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae | 2009/49/1

Additions and corrections to the catalogue of the Scathophagidae (Diptera) of the Palaearctic Region (Šifner 2008) are presented. Two new combinations, Norellisoma altaicum (Ozerov, 2008), comb. nov. and Norellisoma yolduense (Ozerov, 2008), comb. nov., both transferred from Norellia Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830, and one new synonym, Scathophaga eoa Ozerov, 2007, syn. nov. = Scathophaga mellipes (Coquillett, 1899), are formally established. Including these changes, the Palaearctic fauna now contains 38 valid genera, 220 species and 198 synonyms.
