This publication by RNDr. Jiří Žalman is intended for novice museum workers especially. Author spent all his career at museums and recognized the transformation of Czech museum culture from many angles. The book was written as a fictitious interview by the author of a museum apprentice Karolína. Four chapters cover the meaning, creation, management and conservation of museum collections, communication with visitors and issues of managing museums and galleries, while the fifth chapter is the author’s subjective probe into the history of Czech museums. Attractive text is accompanied by witty illustrations of Kateřina Perglová.
