The catalogue of coins (493 psc.) is organized chronologically respecting general rules for publication of ancient coins. Attribution of the of the particular specimens reflects the most complete references possible, the newest publications inclusive. Dating of the Roman coins corresponds with the latest published catalogues. In the case of the Celtic coins, significant attention has been paid to their finding provenance including the published references. For this part of the collection, the non-destructive XRF metal analysis has been performed in the Institute of Nuclear Physics in Řež near Prague.
